At Samish with Doug and Felette. Up early. 10:00 AM appointment with Simon to look at slab for dining room table. Saw it yesterday but it was against the wall with another slab in front of it. Did not look so imposing today. 12' long by about 42" wide - 3" thick about 600#. Did not look imposing until Simon used a tractor to stand it on its side. Beautiful piece of wood. Needs to be routed flat then sanded and finished. Doug told me, in the Summer, that if I got the Point he would buy me the table. $950.00. Plus flattening $300.00 plus finishing another $300.00. Delivery $100.00. Woodie quoted great steel legs. - work of art -$1,500.00. To Home Depot to pick up wine cooler and beverage cooler. To Kulshan Breweries to puck up food for lunch. To the point. Fellette cleaned up the bed near the house and started on the waterfall foliage - looks great!! Painter lady completed bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, laundry room and most ceilings. Doug and I installed wine and beverage cooler. To the cabin, wine then dinner still the Cliff House. Back to the cabin, bed soon after.
