At Samish with Doug. To the point by 9:00. Spent a long time walking around the point and making lists of things that needed work. Tony the handyman and Jamie the landscaper were both there. Tony working on finishing the patching on the roof of the main house and garage/rec room. Abby was also there to clean the rec room area. Doug and I had to pick up the Millwork cut to 3" and 4" widths. Received a phone call from Cathy the painter who wanted to meet at 2:00. Doug and I left the point at around noon with a list of things to do. We took his pick up truck with me driving. List: Get lunch, pick up new toilet seats, tar paper, to Benjamin Moore to pick up stain. Village lighting for landscape lighting and to look at dining room lights. To Bellingham Millworks to get the window trim and baseboards. To Home Depot for subfloor plywood. First stop - Hardware sales, catering truck - polish dogs for both of us. Then inside to get everything on our shopping list and in the car an the way to Benjamin Moore by 1:00 PM. We realized it was going to be tight to do everything on the list and get back to the point. Scratched Village Lighting off the list. To Benjamn Moore to get 2 quarts of stain, then to Bellingham Millworks. Realized we would have to scratch the run to Home Depot off the list. Loaded up and ready to leave for the point by 1:55. Knew we were going to be late for the 2:00 PM meeting with Cathy. Back at the point by 2:15. Doug sorted the Millwork while I met with Cathy to go over the paint color and carpet selection. When Cathy left Doug and I laid out the location of each piece of wood. We then cut the inside sills and called it a day. To the cabin for a light dinner - bed early.
