Up early for 8:00 AM meeting with Ferndale Sheet a Metal to check out the furnace. Doug and Fellette left for home at 7:15. Furnace guy arrived around 8:15. Made appointments with Walls and Windows for blinds, Overhead Door for garage door service, Sanitary Service for garbage cans and pickup, Tom Scott for water treatment system service, Lois Auto Glass for window replacement, Security Systems, Jake, for alarm repair and spoke to Nick Stoner, plumber. Furnace guy left around 9:00 AM - all 4 electronic filters cleaned and furnace is in excellent shape. I left for a White a Rock medical clinic at 9:45. Met Doug at Home Depot in Langley to pick up some tools. Drove to Benjamin Moore Paint in Bellingham to pick up 2 quarts of Paint. To Home Depot to pick up cleaning supplies and wood for counter top over wine and beverage cooler. Back at the point by 1:10. Cathy, the painter was there and the chimney sweeper had just arrived for his 1:00 PM appointment. All 3 wood stove and fireplace chimneys now OK to use. All need more parts and service. OK'd repairs - 1-2 weeks. While I was in Canada, Home Depot arrived to measure sun room and Karen from Walls and Windows measured for blinds. Tony the handyman arrived to finish roof repairs. Took shelving off the garage walls and cleaned garage. Will do more roof repairs and look at the roof on the old house. Left around 5:00 go pick up more paint, then to Home Depot, then yo the Coop for groceries, then to the point to drop off the paint, then back to the cabin by 6:45. Bed early.
